First of all, I know I’ve been away for a while… But things have been SO busy with visitors, operas and weddings!! The first of our visitors were our friends from CSU Graham and Stefanie, whom were in Santa Fe for the night. We went out for dinner at Gabrielles and it was SO good to see them!! Our next visitors were Judy and friends! Judy is my brother-in-law, Eric’s mom, who was also my piano teacher since the 3^rd grade. Judy and her friends have been coming down to see the opera for years so its so cool that James could be apart of it this season :) We went out for breakfast at the Chocolate Maven, (the name says it all!) which began as an industrial bakery but also started serving breakfast. You can watch them make pastries while you eat! So COOL!! That same weekend James’ parents came down to visit and to see one of the three opera’s James is in, The Tales of Hoffman. This was my first opera as well, besides dress rehearsals and such. It. Was. Amazing! The opera house is breathtaking and seeing James on stage is one of my all time favorite things :) We spent the weekend showing Jan and Dave our summer home and all of the shops, restaurants and scenery that go with it. The next weekend my parents and Emily and Eric were able to come down!! We went to see Life is A Dream and show them around the opera house and grounds. We again took them all over Santa Fe to show them our town. We went to Maria’s who has the BEST and also cheapest margaritas in town :) We honestly spent 2 hours laughing, I love my family!
